Why do so many Book of Mormon prophets urge us to study the words of Isaiah?
Moroni is the last survivor of the Nephites and continues the record of his father, Mormon. Those who receive the Book of Mormon will know of greater things than the miracle of the three Nephites. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever and continues to perform miracles. Moroni abridges the record of the Jaredites. The language of Jared and his brother is not confounded at the tower of Babel and their family is instructed by the Lord to leave their native land.
“But behold, I will show unto you a God of miracles, even the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob; and it is that same God who created the heavens and the earth, and all things that in them are.”
Rachael D: Mormon 9 is one of my favourite chapters in the Book of Mormon. Verse 3-4 He reminds me that I need the atonement in my life, I need to change to be happy to live with Heavenly Father again. I need to develop christlike attributes, I need to repent of my sins to have joy in the eternities. In verse 21 Mormon teaches about prayer and that the promise blessings are available to everyone, including us.
