3 Nephi 8-10

Study Question:
Ponder the spoken witness from Heavenly Father:”Behold my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, in whom I have glorified my name – hear ye him” (3 Nephi 11:7). How you would have responded if you had been there for this announcement and the appearance of Jesus Christ – the crowning event of the Book of Mormon?

These three chapters described the crowning event of the Book of Mormon! Chapter 8 describes those physical upheavals attest the crucifixion of Christ. Many unrighteous cities and people therein were destroyed, even there was darkness covers the land for three days. In Chapter 9, Christ’s voice proclaimed the destruction of many people and cities for their wickedness as well as His divinity, announces that the law of Moses had fulfilled, and invited men to come unto Him and be saved. From Chapter 10 we learned that all the prophecies God communicates through His prophets had been fulfilled. The Lord will receive all those who come unto Him with a broken heart and a contrite spirit.

3 Nephi 9:22 Therefore, whoso repenteth and cometh unto me as a little child, him will I receive, for of such is the kingdom of God. Behold, for such I have laid down my life, and have taken it up again; therefore repent, and come unto me ye ends of the earth, and be saved.
