Study Question:
After having the knowledge of the Gospel and being witnesses of His existence, how can we prevent from falling into pride and confusing worldly pleasures with spiritual pleasures?

Summary:
The Gentiles are called to repent and be baptised. Their conversion caused impact to future generations. Peace is restored and they all become ONE.

They are prospered but it brought about pride because of worldly pleasures. They rebelled against God, but this time after having the knowledge of the Gospel.

Scripture:
4 Nephi 1:12
“And they did not walk any more after the performances and ordinances of the law of Moses; but they did walk after the commandments which they had received from their Lord and their God, continuing in fasting and prayer, and in meeting together oft both to pray and to hear the word of the Lord.”

Rachael D: 4 Nephi 1:15 says that there was no contention because of the love of God in their hearts. Verse 28 says Satan had hold upon their hearts. Verse 31 the people hardened their hearts. Verse 43 the people began to be proud in their hearts. I think the Sabbath day can be a protection to us, verse 12 teaches us that the righteous continued in fasting and prayer and did meet together often to pray and hear the word of the Lord.
