Study Question:
How can do we qualify for the promise that if we ask we shall receive?

Jesus commands the disciples to call the church after His name. He asks the disciples what they desire after He has gone to the Father. Nine ask to be taken into the Kingdom of Heaven speedily after they have lived long lives. Three ask to remain on earth to continue preaching the gospel and are changed in the twinkling of an eye. The coming forth of the Book of Mormon is a sign that the Lord is fulfilling his covenants.

3 Nephi 27:29
“Therefore, ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; for he that asketh, receiveth; and unto him that knocketh, it shall be opened.”

Rachael D: 3 Nephi 27:13-15 Christ tell them his purpose; he came into the work to be lifted up on the cross so he could bring all men unto him. It reminds me the atonement for everyone, Christ wants everyone to live his gospel and return to live with Heavenly Father. Verse 30 Christ says his joy is great because no one is lost of this generation. He has great joy when we repent and come unto him. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are always there for us, we just need to ask and knock.
