Study Question: What can we do to limit Satan’s power in our personal lives (See 2 Nephi 30:18)?
Summary: The Book of Mormon will be rejected, but it will provide a testimony of Christ that is harmonious with the Bible. The gospel of Jesus Christ will be declared among the Jews and Gentiles, and Satan will cease to have power over the children of men. Christ is the only name under Heaven whereby people can be saved.
Scripture: 2 Nephi 31:3 “For my soul delighteth in plainness; for after this manner doth the Lord God work among the children of men. For the Lord God giveth light unto the understanding; for he speaketh unto men according to their language, unto their understanding.”
Rachael D: Chapter 29 talks a lot about remembering and revelation, people say they have scripture and they don’t need any more. We are reminded that truth is revealed to all people and we will receive scriptures/ testimonies from many nations. The following chapters talk about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and making covenants and again reminded there is no other way. I think if we seek revelation, remember our covenants and keep using the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives we will limit Satan’s power over our hearts.
